In just 19 days, I will be going back home to the Pearl of the Orient Seas, my beloved country – the Philippines. I seriously am overwhelmed with all the emotions I have right now. Part of me is excited to finally see my family again after 6 months (longest time I’ve been away from them!) but a part of me is still hoping to stay for a longer time here in Italy.
On the other hand, I am also delighted in the fact that I will experience some heat again. In the past few months, I’ve been staying in and traveling to countries with a winter season and a temperature ranging from -5 to 11°C. You can imagine how much I am missing the tropical weather (not that I want to sweat so much and be suffocated from the super hot rays of the sun again! I still love winter, after all!)
Another thing I miss, along with the warm weather, is dressing up for the warmer climate! As you can see in this post, I have already loved and gotten used to layering. But seriously though, I just can’t wait to wear shorts, sleeveless tops, sandals, etc. without worrying about freezing to death.
Now that we’re talking about summer clothes, I have listed down the three most adorable maxi dresses from DressLily that are still on my wishlist for the incoming summer season. They’re perfect for some casual strolls in the mall or some hangout in the city but I can honestly imagine myself wearing them all on the beach instead. I am seriously having all the summer feels right now just by looking at them!
Affordable Maxi Dressed for your Next Beach Getaway
Just look at that beautiful floral and flowing wrap design. This is the perfect dress on the beach to represent just how carefree you are from the world. Plus, check out those gorgeous neutral block heels that make the outfit more feminine and chic!
Boho style is one of the style types that I love to rock during the summer. What better way to rock it than with maxi dresses, tassel earrings, statement bangles, and neutral slip-ons?
You can never go wrong with florals and some slit to make you look sexier and more fabulous. This dress also cinches in the waist so even if you’re wearing flats, you don’t have to worry about the dress making you look shorter as a petite. It actually emphasizes your shape more!
Now that I’ve listed for you some of the maxi dresses I’ve been wanting to wear in the Philippines, I can honestly say that I am excited to go home! That’s so I can finally dress up in these stylish clothes that are so comfortable to wear. But for now, I’ll enjoy my last few days here first and bundle up in my favorite coats and sweaters. I bet these dresses will probably be in my dreams though! (Hahaha!) See you soon, Philippines!
